Two New Albums from Kanye West?
Kanye West, who recently transformed his Twitter account into a living book, announced 2 new albums. The first is a 7-song solo album slated for June 1. The second is a joint project with Kid Cudi titled Kids See Ghosts, which arrives one week later. Little else is known beyond a few cryptic tweets and news of West’s recording sessions in Wyoming. Paula Patton Talks New Film, Traffik
Actress Paula Patton stars in the upcoming movie, Traffik. In the film, Patton plays a woman who is targeted for human trafficking while on a weekend getaway with beau John (played by Omar Epps). She talks to EW about the project and how it opened her eyes to the frightening reality of trafficking.
Diversity Rules TIME’s 100 Most Influential People
Every year, TIMEdedicates an entire issue to highlighting the most influential people in America. This year’s list includes Lena Waithe, Cardi B, Tiffany Haddish, and Jennifer Lopez, among many other celebrities and public figures. Many of the pieces were written by other celebs. Lee Daniels Exec. Produces New Indie Film About Lesbian Love
Lee Daniels has signed on to executive produce Pimp, a feature film about lesbian love. The project was written and directed by Christine Crokos and stars Keke Palmer, DMX, and Aunjanue Ellis. This is Daniels’ first time in the EP seat for a feature film. Read more at Shadow and Act.

Wyatt Cenac’s Problem Areas is his first time at the helm of show with full creative control; he developed the concept, hired the staff, pitched it to HBO, stars in the series, and serves as its executive producer. The show combines scripted segments, field interviews, and animation, for an in-depth report on a broad topic, or “problem area,” over a full season; the first issue they’ll tackle is policing in America.
