Kevin Durant Pays First-Year Tuition for 4 College Freshmen

Golden State Warrior Kevin Durant is likely riding a high right now, as his team leads the NBA Finals against LeBron James and the Cavaliers.  But he isn’t letting that stop his philanthropy.  He recently paid first-year tuition for four incoming college freshmen.  The students were his mentees at the Boys & Girls Club of Peninsula in California. His charity foundation will deliver the funds.  Get additional details at VIBE.

Kanye West Announces Project Wyoming Events

Kanye West has had a busy month already. He kicked off the month with ye, his eighth studio album which is also poised to become his eighth Billboard 200 number one.  Now, he’s taking his innovation to three pop-up events dubbed Project Wyoming. Two events took place in Chicago and Miami Wednesday night; the third takes places in Brooklyn tonight. Details on the events have been kept under wraps but are rumored to include exclusive merch and bonfires. The Weeknd Announces New Beats 1 Radio Show

The Weeknd has recently taken his talents to new mediums, contributing music to February’s Black Panther and launching a Starboy comic.  Now, he’s headed to radio.  MEMENTO MORI will feature the music that inspires the singer and is exclusive to Apple’s Beats 1 Radio.  He follows in the footsteps of stars like Frank Ocean and Drake, who’ve launched their own radio shows. Ayesha Curry Headed to ABC for Cooking Competition Show

It looks like Steph Curry isn’t the only one getting involved in entertainment. Ayesha recently signed a deal with Endemol Shine North America to produce and star in original unscripted content.  First up, she’ll star in ABC’s Family Food Fight, a cooking competition series in which families compete to win $100,000.  Read more at Shadow and Act.
