The Roots announced the lineup for the 2019 installment of Roots Picnic, the band’s annual summer concert series.
The Roots will headline and play their 1999 album Things Fall Apart in full, to commemorate its 20th anniversary. Other headliners include H.E.R., 21 Savage, and City Girls.
Roots Picnic 2019 takes place Saturday, June 1 in Philadelphia at The Mann at Fairmount Park.
Frontman Black Thought released two EPs in 2018 both titled Streams of Thought.
The group can be seen nightly as the house band on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.

K-pop supergroup BTS is set to make its Saturday Night Live debut on April 13. They’ll release a new album, MAP OF THE SOUL: PERSONA, the day before. The group logged two number one albums last year, a historic feat for a K-pop group.
Alicia Keys is set to publish her first memoir, More Myself, this fall under Oprah Winfrey’s book imprint. The book has been described as “part autobiography, part narrative documentary”. It’s out November 5 and is available for pre-order now.
