Grey Days

As we're all too familiar, fall has no shortage of gloomy, overcast days.  Perhaps in minor bouts of seasonal affective disorder, we're naturally inclined to go for comfort instead of style with oversized sweats and anything that keeps us warm.  But there's definitely a way to stay warm and comfortable while still being in style.  The oversized H&M sweater pictured here is a wool blend piece that can easily be worn with outerwear or layered with knits underneath.  If the length is a bit too fashion forward, take it down a size for better proportions while still maintaining a bit of avant garde edge with the asymmetrical zipper front.  Though it's paired here with skinny denim and suede oxfords, the sweater works just as easily with a multitude of blue washes and more distressed options.  On those chilly, darker days, it's absolutely possible to stay in your comfort zone without losing your sense of style.
