Joggers are literally everywhere. Brands that you never would have imagined are carrying multiple variations of what is now a wardrobe staple. And while it's a definite that every guy should have a pair, there are certain characteristics to look for to make sure you've got the right one. Your joggers should be cut slim like any other pair of pants in your wardrobe: tapered leg opening and straight or even skinny through the hip and thigh. The idea is to elevate them beyond simply being that pant you throw on to run errands. The modern version of the jogger on the market right now can be so much more when paired with a blazer: a work pant, a dinner or brunch pant, and yes a more inspired errand pant. I've chosen to keep them casual here throwing on a chunky hooded sweater underneath my blazer and pairing them with sneakers. But you could easily replace the sneakers with boots or an oxford to give them some polish. It's up to you to decide what purpose joggers serve in your wardrobe, but whatever that purpose is, they should fit in your closet right alongside your chinos and work pants.
