Looking Back

As much as I love following fashion trend and putting my own spin on popular looks, it's always exciting to look back to fashion's past for new inspiration. Vintage finds like this beautiful military coat can inject new life into your wardrobe at a fraction of the cost of new designer goods. I'd never really considered thrifting as an option for new pieces, but after a friend recommended L Train Vinage in the East Village, I am officially a believer. Digging through the racks in the shop was exciting because there were so many great, well-tailored pieces in great condition for unbelievable prices. In gearing up for the undoutedly cold winter ahead of us, I paired the coat with some of my favorite pieces from Accessory Wonderland. The overall look is rugged and military-inspired while still keeping you warm. If you're looking for an affordable way to update your winter outerwear, a vintage shop is the way to go.
