Last Days of Fall

Last Days of Fall

It's official people...the last days of fall are upon us.  And it looks like the unseasonably warm days are behind us.  Which is welcome news for me.  I'm one of those people whose body temperature seems to rest at a temperature somewhere around boiling.  I'm still dripping with sweat when temps dip into the 30s.  As much as I need my coat and cold weather accessories, I also loathe them.  I love the days where a tweed blazer provides enough warmth outdoors.

If you don't have a tweed blazer in your closet, you definitely need one.  Now.  The natural texture adds depth and warmth to any look, and depending on your personal style, it can easily transition from work to happy hour.  And the warmth this blazer provides is on par with a peacoat.  Another great thing about them is you don't have to break the bank to pick one up.  Forgo the holiday shopping madness and head to your nearest vintage shop to find a high fashion gem that's cut slim and expertly designed.  Tweed blazers tend to come in grays and earth tones.  Let the blazer be the star of the show and pair it with softer, solid pastels underneath.  Finish things off with dark denim or a lightweight wool pant, and you're ready to enjoy these last days of fall in ultimate style.

With only so many days left of bearable temperatures, throw a tweed blazer in the mix to elevate your style game and keep your body warm.
