Three Pieces

As I may or may not have mentioned here before, I rarely have a need to wear a suit in my life aside from weddings or the occasional interview.  But that doesn't mean I can't pull together a three piece look using a suiting piece.  The vest shown here was part of a three piece suit combo but I only opted to buy the vest and and pants.  And I rarely wore them together.  Instead of a blazer, I've reinvented one of my favorite chunky sweaters as a jacket.  Layered with a lightweight knit and paired back to skinny chinos and Chelsea boots, the look is still effortlessly classic and sharp with a millennial dapper twist.

Sometimes the best way to challenge convention is to completely disrupt it.  I love a good suit like the next guy, but I love my style instinct even more.  Getting dressed isn't about following tradition.  It's about expressing your personality.  With this look, I've don't just that.
