Drawing on inspiration from last week's outfit grid, I pulled a few key pieces together that help demonstrate how to keep color alive in your winter wardrobe. I get it. It's tough to care about your style this winter. It's more about waterproof boots and what's going to keep your body warm while you slosh through the snow and slush. But there's a way to keep things pulled together so that you still turn heads once you take off your coat and snow boots. I'm gravitating toward blue this winter. The hues shown above are enough of a stark contrast to black and gray to catch your attention, but the deep, rich tone of the pieces used here are still appropriate for the season. Once Spring arrives, this sweater and beanie combo can easily transition. No need to make a full seasonal change in your closet. Perhaps through more Spring color in my wardrobe, I can pull some Spring weather into my life before March.
