Cold War

In my experience, New York winters have been like any other season.  Sure there's a sharp, noticeable change in the weather like any other time of year, but it always passes and a smooth transition into the next season begins.  But this winter is on steroids.  Mother Nature just won't quit.  The subzero wind chill, the epic snowfall, the pit of sickness and disease this city has become...I could go on.  Getting dressed in the morning is like suiting up for war.  But even when it's downright unbearable outside, you still need to look your best despite your overwhelming desire to stay in bed or wear sweatpants and hoodies everywhere.  Inspired by an advertisement I flipped past in the pages of LĂ“fficiel Hommes Paris, I wanted to create a luxurious layered look that represented warmth, trend, and winter mood.  I've paired an elongated wool sweater with classic suiting pants all while still playing with blacks and charcoal grays.  I'm ready for the office but with a streetwear twist.  It's true that having to do anything in this weather is absolutely dreadful, but if you're going out there, make sure you do it in style.
