Something Blue

This Spring, I'm all about vibrant color.  While I especially love the safety of black and various shades of gray, it's the vitality of rich hues that's breathing life back into my wardrobe.  And it can do the same for you too.

This teal lived-in sweatshirt from Gap is great in so many ways.  As of late, I've been having a little love affair with the Gap.  One thing this brand has always done well is basics.  This sweatshirt is tailored in all the right places: hides the winter weight you're still shedding while accentuating your finer points.  The cotton blend is unbelievably soft and the color stays fresh after multiple washes.  This is a Spring essential; a true must-have.  I've paired it back to a pair of twill joggers and casual sneakers.  It's the perfect look for bouncing around through the city during the weekend: warm enough for those chilly Spring mornings, comfortable enough for physical activity, and cool enough for downtown brunch.

Basics shouldn't be boring.  Join me in my quest to inject color into every man's Spring wardrobe!
