Cleanse Your Palette

Cleanse your palette this season.  Your color palette, that is.  I love Spring and Summer because I finally have the chance to break out my white pants.  If you march to the beat of your own drum when it comes to style, you're probably rocking white pants year-round.  But nothing makes a stronger warm weather statement than white pants.

Chinos are the way to go.  Make sure they're cut straight or slim to give your look a clean, polished feel.  The cuffing detail at the leg opening gives you a chance to show off some ankle and stay on trend with how to wear this pant.  You can throw on almost any color up top.  I've opted for a forest green here, but any hue on either side of the spectrum would work.  Pair your chinos back to a simple oxford, and you've got a sharp seasonal look that easily transitions from summer Friday at the office to happy hour.  You can pull off the same effect with white denim.  And if you're looking for something a bit more casual, throw on a cool low-top sneaker instead.

This season has been all about simplicity and color for me.  As the season continues to warm up, don't be afraid to reset your wardrobe with some options in white.
