How To Wear...Shorts Part 2

As I've mentioned before, the right pair of shorts can be a versatile player in your closet. And it's so important to fill your limited closet space with pieces that can easily transition to different aspects of your life. In How To Wear...Shorts Part 1, I focused on the dapper aspect of shorts. This particular post is all about streetwear.

For me, the more simplistic the outfit, the wider the range of versatility. I'm thankful for the unseasonably cool New York summer so far because it has allowed me to layer and add some depth to my summer looks.  I've paired a black tee with side zip detail with an elongated olive green tee.  This adds some complexity to the shorts look during a time of year when I normally wouldn't have this option.  I've topped it all off with a pair of PF Flyers.  The color and height of the sneaker keep things playful yet edgy.  The approach to this shorts look is great for keeping things casual and fun while running around the city.

Whether you choose to adapt your shorts to a work environment or turn them into a vital piece of afternoon activewear, they are absolutely a must have.
